The Sumatra range of shutters are created using FSC certified white teak wood which is one of the finest timbers available in the world. The wood is produced in sustainable forests and is well regarded among joiners and carvers. This range uses wood which is also used in grand pianos and guitars and is highly regarded for its strength as well as still remaining light weight. These shutters can be created using many different louvre sizes from 32mm to 114mm plus the added 60mm and 84mm flat louvre option is also available.
The shutters can be finished in a huge range of finishes including 28 paints and 20 stains, with the optional extra of using our colour matching service if required. All these options make Sumatra shutters one of the most customisable of our range. They also come with an extended 5 year warranty.
