Sometimes certain areas and windows are very hard to fill with traditional window dressings, they also demand a finish which matches the stunning sizing and angles of the window. Our plantation shutters have been bespoke designed to fit this customers window in Twickenham. As you can see it required accurate designing and installation so that all panels not only fitted perfectly, but worked in the normal way.
The shutters fold neatly out the way into the middle using a clever bi folding solution. We used thick 89mm louvers for maximum natural light into the room and because they suit shutters of this height. With such a window it is important that every element of the shutters works with the natural lighting and privacy that is required. The windows look out over the water so it was important to not hamper the view.
We finished the shutters in silk white helping to aid the contemporary, modern look that the client was aiming to achieve!
